The Port of Fujairah has grown exponentially, thanks to strategic investment in infrastructure, facilities and comprehensive support services, which has enabled it to keep abreast of trade and industry developments and market demands. This ongoing development has enabled the Port to establish a global reputation as a safe, efficient and progressive hub location.
The Port further services the Fujairah Oil Industrial Zone, which hosts the Middle East’s largest commercial storage capacity for refined oil and crude oil products, the aggregate and limestone industries, as well as trading facilities within the Fujairah Free Zone. The container, general cargo, RoRo and cruise handling facilities in the Port are under a major upgrade by Fujairah Terminals, and capacity is expected to reach 1.3 million TEUs and 720,000 tons of general cargo by 2030.
