Distress Signalling Devices
Dumping of expired distress signalling devices (Rocket Parachute Flares, Smoke Signals, etc.) into sea is strictly prohibited at Fujairah Offshore Anchorage.
The expired distress signalling devices are strictly not permitted to dispose along with domestic garbage.
The expired devices are therefore delivered to Fujairah Civil Defence for the proper disposal through respective local agents. Local agents are requested to obtain prior permission from the Department of Explosives and Director General of Police prior collecting aforesaid materials from ship for disposal purpose.
